Four Corners
A cross hangs on the wall
Reminding everybody not to fall.
Keep your eyes closed,
And you’ll feel restless souls.
Do you recognize them?
Keep your faith till heroes walk in,
Learn to believe in a second chance pill.
In these four corners, all hopes are surrendered
To the one whom people claim as their father..
Sure there are things we take for granted.
Unfortunately, among those
Is the life others have always wanted.
Why is it that only when death comes knocking on your door,
Will you keep on shouting,
“Please, give me a chance once more?”
Death comes unexpectedly.
People cry, grieve, and become fiery.
A never ending juggle between life and death.
I suppose this is the favorite theme
Of the greatest poet.
